In this interview, Cristian shares his journey, the challenges he has overcome, and his passion for helping businesses thrive through innovative technology solutions.

What motivated you to join the Dapango Technologies team, and what has your experience been like so far?

I was motivated to see how technology can make businesses more resilient. Before joining Dapango Technologies, I only knew the basics, but taking on this challenge has opened my eyes to how we can address specific and daily incidents of challenges that businesses face.

I have learned a lot and continue to learn every day. My experience has been incredibly enriching. Two and a half years into taking on this challenge, I have grown tremendously through Dapango and the company. With our services, I can provide significant value to companies that lack this critical aspect of business continuity.”

Has the transition from your last job to your current position significantly changed?

It has been a radical change. I have always said that I inherited my parents’ business drive, and I have always liked interacting with people. This is in contrast to what he did before, which had very little commercial essence. My previous job was more administrative and accounting-focused, so taking on this sales role has been an interesting challenge.

How would you describe a typical day as a Sales Manager of Dapango Technologies? Do you have any memorable or funny anecdotes?

It’s hard to pinpoint a specific anecdote because, in business, there are always unique situations. Nothing is ever set in stone. As you develop your sales management role, you come across changes you can make to improve the way you execute your tasks.

The Sales Manager role is a blank canvas, where you write something new daily and constantly learn. There is always room for improvement, and it is crucial to identify how to do things better in this position.

If you could have one superpower to improve your sales skills, what would it be and why?

This is clear to me. If I could have any superpower to improve my sales function, it would be the ability to read minds. This would help me identify the correct way to approach a client and communicate how we can help them.

Our services are essential for many businesses, but adjustments must be made to determine how to address customer needs and create urgency they may need to realize.

What advice would you give to someone starting out in the business world, both technologically and non-technologically?

From a purely business point of view, one of the most essential pieces of advice I can give is to be resilient, stay motivated, and be consistent. There will be good days and days when people are less receptive. Business world is challenging; you must be mentally strong and face the less exciting days.

On the technology side, it is an even more significant and dynamic challenge. If your technology is not updated and at the forefront, you will be left behind and will not be able to offer that added or differentiating value to your clients. Continuous learning is essential; every day, you need to continue training to better serve your customers.

Can salespeople be born with talent, or can it be learned?

On a personal level, I think it is something that anyone can learn. I have seen many cases where people who are shy by nature or have difficulty expressing themselves become excellent salespeople with the right training and approach.
